Varun is the son of Nagendra Babu, the owner of Anjana Productions. He has acted in films like Fidaa, Tholi Prema and is the voice of Aladdin in the Telugu dubbed version of the movie. He 

is presently acting for the film Valmiki, a Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil film Jigarthanda.
