candidates for the 2024 General Elections in Mahasamund are Roop Kumari Choudhary (BJP) and Tamradhwaj Sahu (Congress). As per the latest trends of counting of votes for 2024 Lok Sabha
elections, BJP's Roop Kumari Choudhary has won Seat in Mahasamund. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Mahasamund seat was won by BJP candidate Chunni Lal Sahu, while Congress
candidate Dhanendra Sahu had come in second place. In 2014's General Elections, Mahasamund constituency was won by BJP candidate Chandu Lal Sahu (Chandu Bhaiya) and Congress candidate
