A Hindu and a Muslim family came to each others rescue through a kidney transplant in Nagpur. Two patients, a 30-year-old man from Khamgaon and a 35-year-old man from Kamptee, were on

dialysis for a long time and were in dire need of a kidney transplant. Since the blood group of donors in both families didn’t match with the recipients, the families agreed to swap kidneys

on the suggestion of the doctors. The sister of patient from Khamgaon was full of praise for Dr Sanjay Kolte, the urosurgeon at Wockhardt. This family had also exhausted all its money on

dialysis and hence, got the transplant done with money collected through donations raised via newspapers in Khamgaon and contributions by relatives._ _ _(With inputs from ANI.)_ Video
