allegations, Dharma Productions, the banner behind ‘Homebound’, released a statement clarifying their stance. The company reiterated its strict no-tolerance policy towards any form of
inappropriate behavior, including sexual harassment. Dharma acknowledged Pratik Shah’s role on the project but noted that he was engaged as a freelancer for a short duration. “His engagement
with us has been completed,” the statement read. “During his time on the project, our internal POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee did not receive any complaints from cast or
crew regarding Mr. Shah.” While Shah has yet to make a public statement, the controversy has reignited the debate around safeguarding professional environments in the film industry.
