Jarrod LucasKalgoorlie Miner Excelsior Gold managing director David Hamlyn says the company's Kalgoorlie North Gold Project has the potential for at least two underground mines.

Excelsior this week embarked on a $1.98 million drilling campaign focusing on the Zoroastrian deposit, 45km north of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The campaign involves 17,600m of reverse circulation

drilling and 1000m of diamond core and is expected to continue until late January. Drilling will also focus on the high-grade Big Blow South deposit to the south of Zoroastrian. Mr Hamlyn

said the company rated the Zoroastrian and Excelsior deposits as its top priorities and both had potential for underground operations. GET THE LATEST NEWS FROM THEWEST.COM.AU IN YOUR INBOX.
