period has drawn to a close, leaving us with plenty to ponder as talks progress.


Three deals were completed:


- Lincoln McCarthy, a close friend of Lachie Neale, moved from Geelong to Brisbane;


- Former Richmond pair Anthony Miles and Corey Ellis became Gold Coast Suns; and


- Geelong snaffled talented SANFL tall and Carlton pre-selection pick Nathan Kreuger.


In other news:


- Geelong is demanding top-10 pick for homesick midfielder Tim Kelly;


- GWS ruck-forward Rory Lobb wants to become a Docker;


- West Coast could match Port Adelaide’s free agency offer to Scott Lycett;


- A Halls Creek forward could shape this year’s trade period; and


- A WA-born Bulldogs defender is eyeing up a move to Brisbane.
