New Delhi: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, the son of corporate honchos Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal, will take seven
vows in December 2018, family sources said on Sunday. Isha is the twin sister of Akash Ambani, who recently exchanged rings with Shloka Mehta, the daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta. Akash
and Shloka’s wedding is also slated for December.
Anand, the founder of Piramal Realty, and Isha, who is on the boards of Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio, have known each other for long. Before Piramal Realty, Anand had spearheaded the
launch of Piramal Swasthya, a not for profit organization which believes in “Democratising Healthcare”. The would-be-groom also holds the position of an executive director of the global
business conglomerate - the Piramal group.
Both Ambanis and Piramals have shared a robust friendship for more than 40 years.
Anand reportedly popped the question to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar, Satara district, Maharashtra. PTI quoted sources as saying the couple enjoyed the occasion at a lunch with their
parents. They were also accompanied by Isha's brothers Akash and Anant, and her grandparents, Kokilaben Ambani and Purnimaben Dalal.
Anand obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Isha Ambani pursued Bachelors in Psychology and South Asian Studies from Yale University. She is still pursuing her Master in Business Administration programme from the Graduate School of
Business, Stanford, and will get a degree by June.
