health issues he had to quit. Some time ago, Eijaz Khan too left suddenly as he had some prior work commitments. He was the first person to enter the house and after more than hundred days,
he had to leave mid-way.Not many people know that Manu Punjabi was approached by the makers again to come as a proxy for Eijaz. But Manu apparently refused after which Devoleena
Bhattacharjee was roped in. We reached out to Manu and here's what he had to say: “Yes, after Eijaz’s exit the show makers asked me to enter as his proxy. But I said a clear no to them.
Why will I enter as someone’s proxy when my own game was left? I left due to personal reasons and now entering as someone’s proxy didn’t seem right to me,” shared Manu. About rumours that
he will now enter as Eijaz’s family connection, he said, “I did not feel like going inside the house again as a family connection because Eijaz is not there in the house. It would have shown
me as somebody desperate person who's entering the house for someone who is not even there physically.” Meanwhile talking about his favourites in the house, Manu said, “I like Eijaz
Khan and Rubina Dilaik the most but when we talk about the game then it has to be Rahul Vaidya for me!”
