Oklahoma City , OK — OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Health Care System (OKC VA HCS) is having a career fair on Wednesday, July 26, from 2pm-7pm. The VA is actively hiring
for open positions at the OKC VA facility and outpatient clinics in Norman, Tinker, Shawnee and many other locations. Open positions include jobs requiring health care experience such as
dental assistants and PTCB certified pharmacy technicians, while many positions are support positions, such as motor vehicle operators, laundry workers, supply chain technicians/purchasing
agents, prosthetics purchasing agents, engineering trades, food service workers and housekeeping. “During the Winter Career Fair, we received 372 potential applicants and filled 59
positions. We offered these individuals potentially a life-long career with the Department of Veterans Affairs,” said Russell Hebert, Human Resources Senior Strategic Business Partner.
Across the nation, the Department of Veterans Affairs is actively hiring qualified individuals to start a new career and join the VA team. These new VA employees will help ensure Veterans,
