BBC The One Show's Alex Jones' shares revelation about husband's health battle Jackie responded with a frank admission: "In the old days, we didn't have money, we
didn't have time, we just risked my life to do all these stunts," which took the presenters by surprise. "When we have money, we know the technology, the audience don't
like to see Jackie Chan using special effects. So until now, and even I tell Ben, you have to do your own stunts, and the audience respects you." Acknowledging the challenge, Alex
remarked, "It's a lot to live up to," prompting Jackie to share how Charlie Chaplin influenced his approach to combat scenes. "It's the old days, nothing, no special
effects. They do all kinds of crazy stunts and I said, 'I gotta do it'," Jackie added, recounting his inspiration. "Then I just change a little bit, use it in my movie
and I just do the same thing. But I hurt a lot... I thought I had to do the old things." A surprised Alex then remarked: "Oh my goodness, it's amazing that you're sitting
here in one piece, Jackie," while Clara echoed: "He's here! A man committed." Karate Kid: Legends, directed by Jonathan Entwistle from a screenplay by Rob Lieber, is
