POLICE SAID FORMAL IDENTIFICATION WAS YET TO TAKE PLACE 22:10, 24 Dec 2023Updated 22:13, 24 Dec 2023 Police have launched a murder investigation after a 23-year-old man was found with
injuries at an address in Llandaff, Cardiff, on Sunday afternoon (December 24). A local man, also aged 23, has been arrested on suspicion of murder, a South Wales Police statement confirmed
tonight. The force said that formal identification was yet to take place, but next of kin of the victim had been informed and were being supported by specialist officers. Police said it was
considered to be an isolated incident and detectives were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death. Armed officers had been deployed to Chapel Street, Llandaff 'as a
precaution', just before 11.30am today and a car park opposite the Spar shop in High Street was sealed off. A force spokesman said at the time: "Members of the public who may be
