OUTBREAKS OF RAIN ARE SET TO BE EXPERIENCED BY LARGE PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, IN PARTICULAR THE SOUTH 07:03, 21 May 2025Updated 11:37, 21 May 2025 Thundery showers are on the way in Wales on
Wednesday afternoon, May 21, meteorologists have forecast. The Met Office said outbreaks of rain would be experienced by large parts of the country, in particular the south. It explains how
this will be broken up by sunny spells, with scattered showers expected to be a feature of the day's weather. Forecasting the weather for today, the Met Office writes on its website:
"Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, locally heavy, in the south first thing. "The rain breaking up into scattered showers, which could be heavy and possibly thundery in the afternoon.

fog patches forming in rural spots. "Turning locally chilly. Light winds. Minimum temperature 2°C." Looking into Thursday, the forecast reads: "Early mist and fog patches
soon clearing to leave a fine and dry day, with warm sunny spells. "Chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon. "Feeling fresher. Light winds. Maximum temperature 19°C."
