the moment a popular North Wales football club's pitch was left underwater following relentless New Year's Eve and New Year's Day rain, causing low-lying parts of the region
to flood. In Gwynedd, CPD Porthmadog FC's ground became submerged, prompting locals to share their shock at the water levels online. The video, shared on the club's Facebook page,
depicts a scene with several inches of water drenching the pitch and inundating picnic tables on nearby land. Social media users reacted, with one commenting: "B***** hell, is the game
off on Saturday? " while another simply posted: "Wow." As a result of the deluge, the club's match against Llangefni Town FC at home this Saturday has been postponed.
