Sports pundit David Prutton believes Swansea striker Jerry Yates would be a good signing for league rivals QPR. Yates spent last season on loan with Derby County and helped keep the Rams in
the Championship by scoring 10 goals. He is likely to find it tough to break back into the Swansea ranks this summer, and a number of clubs have reportedly expressed interest in taking him
away from south Wales permanently. One of those are the Hoops and Prutton, speaking to Football League World, feels he would be a good fit for the west Londoners. Prutton said: "It
would be a good signing for QPR. "He's certainly a player I've enjoyed watching over the past few seasons across the EFL. He would be a miss for Swansea. Article continues
below "QPR need something to change this pattern of treading water in the Championship. I'm not saying that Jerry Yates is the vital cog that can completely transform them, but
he's shown at this level that he's got ability to affect the opposition. "So, the money would have to be right, the finances would have to fit, but he would be a good signing
for the R's, but we just don't really know where they or whose leading them at the minute, do we?" Yates still has 12 months to run on his Swansea.com Stadium contract, but

radar last season as a potential replacement for Harry Darling, who has yet to decide on his future in south Wales. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here. Indeed two bids from Swansea
were knocked back by Wanderers in January for the 23-year-old. Low made 42 outings for the Chairboys last term and helped them into the League One play-offs, where they lost to Charlton in
the semi-finals. His former manager, Matt Bloomfield, spoke back in January about the defender being "destined to go on to better things". "He's a very good player and
he's our player. We think a lot of him. He's worked incredibly hard," Bloomfield told BBC Three Counties Radio earlier this year, just before he moved on to Luton Town.
"It was decided he wasn't good enough for the Championship at that point but we believed in him, we've worked with him, we've nurtured him." Where Low's future
now lies remains to be seen. MODRIC SET FOR REAL STAY Multiple reports in Spain state Luka Modric is inching closer to an extension with Real Madrid which will see him continue his
footballing career. The Swansea investor is out of contract in the Spanish capital this summer but the impending arrival of former team-mate Xabi Alonso as new Real boss is set to see him
offered another year. It was always believed that the Croatian had wanted to prolong his playing days and that now seems to be the most likely outcome. Modric, who turns 40 in September, is
also reportedly willing to reduce his salary in order to continue playing. Article continues below The football legend shocked the Swans fanbase a few weeks ago when it was announced he
