Vancouver's Dan Mangan is further proof that soft-spoken sincerity resonates with listeners. In the days since he released his first acoustic EP, _All At Once_, in 2003, Mangan has
evolved from a community name to an international act. He's more than just a pretty voice, though. Mangan has a knack for instrumental arrangements, often requiring as many as 20
musicians to flesh out his tracks. His latest album is _Nice, Nice, Very Nice_, which has been likened to Bon Iver and fellow Canadian Chad VanGaalen. Hear Mangan perform songs live in the
_World Cafe_ studios at WXPN in Philadelphia. Copyright 2010 XPN
