Crime INVESTIGATORS ARE SEEKING ANSWERS IN THE STABBING DEATH OF 41-YEAR-OLD GUI LIN. A murder investigation is underway after a man was fatally stabbed outside a shopping plaza on Monday,
the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office announced. Derry police received a call at 11:21 a.m. asking for help outside a business at 4 Peabody Annex Road. Initial reports suggested there
had been a person with a gunshot wound. But upon arrival, first responders found Gui Lin, 41, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Lin was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced
dead, according to officials. Authorities said an autopsy revealed that Lin died from a stab wound to the chest, which punctured his heart. His cause of death was ruled a homicide, but no
arrests have been made in connection to the stabbing, according to officials. Advertisement: “At this point, the investigation is very, very open, active. So we are looking at a lot of
different possibilities of what’s out there,” Senior Assistant Attorney General Ben Agati told WMUR. Agati told the outlet that it doesn’t appear as though Lin was randomly targeted. “And so
that is a big part of our investigation — to understand why the people that we believe were there, why they got there, how they are there,” Agati said. Investigators said anyone with
information about the case should contact the New Hampshire Major Crime Unit at [email protected]. Tips can also be sent anonymously by calling 603-MCU-TIPS. MORGAN ROUSSEAU Morgan Rousseau
