The left user wear polarised glasses kitted out with two left-eye lenses, while the right player sports two right-eye lenses – but both gamers use the full screen. Pretty cool. Users can also toggle with traditional split view and the 2D dual play one, apparently.  The only shortfall is there is no 3D – Dual Play TV is in 2D mode only, although it uses 3D glasses, as demoed at IFA this week on the Xbox console.  This means Sony’s soon to be released 24″ Playstation 3D display, holds an edge over LG in the 3D TV gaming race, at least, but this play  tool is a handy addition to any smart TV worth its bacon.  Dual Play is set to come as standard on LG’s Cinema 3D range including the LW980T smart TV, which comes with a pair of the magic glasses.
