WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: POLICE BELIEVE PRAVEEN MITTAL, 42, HIS PARENTS, WIFE, AND THREE CHILDREN, WERE HEAVILY IN DEBT, WHICH PROMPTED THEM TO ENTER INTO A TRAGIC SUSPECTED SUICIDE

PACT 11:19, 28 May 2025Updated 11:21, 28 May 2025 Terrifying scenes unfolded as a family of seven, including three children, were found deceased in a horrific scene inside a parked car that

left the locals horrified. In a confirmation on Monday night, the police brought to light the stark discovery made by residents who stumbled upon the bodies locked within a vehicle parked

beside a residence. Authorities believe that 42-year-old Praveen Mittal, along with his parents, wife and three offspring, were in serious debt which led them down the dark path of a

sorrowful suspected suicide pact. It's understood by the police that Mr Mittal had travelled to Panchkula, India, with his kin just the day before to be part of a Hanuman Katha

programme. Following the conclusion of the event, reports suggest they consented to follow through with a suicide pact while making their way back to Dehradun. Victims identified include Mr

Mittal, aged 42, his elderly parents, his spouse, alongside their two daughters and son. Resident Punit Rana, upon noticing the car outside his abode, didn't delay in summoning an

ambulance, reports the Daily Record. Article continues below The doors of the vehicle had to be forced open by police, who then rushed the victims off to a nearby hospital. However, they all

were pronounced as dead upon arrival. From the scene, a note pointing to self-induced demise was retrieved by the enforcement officials. An investigation into this tragedy has launched.

Leading the inquiry, Detective Himadri Kaushik conveyed to the press: "This is too early to reach any conclusion. Investigations are in progress, and we're trying to get in touch

with their kin to complete the inquest and other formalities." It comes months after a shocking tragedy where a seven-year-old girl, who miraculously survived her mum's horrific

murder-suicide spree, sadly passed away after battling for life in the hospital. Olivia Blackmer was ruthlessly shot in the head by her own mother, Tranyelle Harshman, in their Byron,

Wyoming home on February 10. This terrifying incident saw Harshman take the lives of three of Olivia's siblings. Suffering from postpartum depression and PTSD, Harshman executed

Olivia's nine year old sister Brailey, and her twin two year old half-sisters, Brooke and Jordan. After the bloodshed, the mother contacted emergency services to direct them to her

children's bodies, then turned the weapon on herself, taking her own life. Emergency responders rushed gravely wounded Olivia to Utah Children's Hospital, where she received urgent

brain surgery. Following an intense fight, maintained under heavy sedation for days, Olivia's stepmother broke the heartbreaking news that she had succumbed to her devastating

injuries. Article continues below Katelynn Beatty, sharing a heartrending update on the GoFundMe page established for Olivia's medical bills, conveyed on Monday that the brave little

girl battled "up to the last minute". Yet, despite her fighting spirit, Beatty lamented that Olivia's body had "been through too much", leading to her tragic demise.
