Ravindra Naik is on his way to Delhi to meet national leaders to press for a separate Telangana state Ravindra Naik, former MP and former minister of Andhra Pradesh state government visited


the Gandhi Ashram on Tuesday. Naik was on his way to New Delhi to meet national leaders to demand a separate Telangana. Naik was greeted by local Andhraites, who support the formation of a


separate Telangana. Speaking of his visit to Gandhi Ashram, Naik said, "I am here to seek the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi so that our movement becomes a success. We will go to New Delhi


to meet the president, the prime minister and the Congress high command to put forth our demand." Naik further said the leaders of Andhra Pradesh are exploiting the Telangana region.


Naik found support from the local BJP leaders from Andhra Pradesh. Dattaji Chirandas, state convener of other language speaking people's cell said, "Majority of people from Andhra


Pradesh, living in Ahmedabad and Gujarat, belong to the Telangana region of the state."
