Carol Kirkwood has congratulated her former BBC Breakfast co-star Dan Walker after he shared an exciting career update. The Channel 5 News star has revealed he and his wife are now the proud
part-owners of a café in Sheffield. Dan took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, yesterday to share the announcement with his 801,100 followers. The Classic FM host,
46, also shared a series of snaps showcasing some seriously delicious-looking pastries. The former Strictly Come Dancing star seemed thrilled, as he revealed he and his wife had taken over
an existing property “they love” alongside some pals. He tweeted: “You know I go on about cake a lot? “Well… I am officially now the part-owner of a cafe!!! It’s something my wife and I
have been thinking about for a while and an opportunity came up just down the road from our house in Sheffield at a place we love, right at the heart of the community, and with friends who
are brilliant. “So… feel free to pop along to the Brook Coffee Rooms in Fulwood in Sheffield… I’ll be the one in the corner eating a cronut,” he added with heart emojis. “It is officially…
THE DREAM.” Dan’s former BBC colleague Carol, who often has friendly exchanges with him on X, voiced her support for his new business venture. “Those cakes.... these pastries…” she wrote
with Face Savoring Food Emojis. “Congratulations to you both xxx.” (sic) “I’ll get some boxed up for you,” Dan replied with a heart emoji. The pictures showed proud owner Dan posing

followers to show their support, with Jules commenting: “Great news Dan. You're so good at promoting community and this is you putting it into action even more. Good luck.
