Royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills pinned the blame for the disorder on Prince Charles, explaining that he is well known to be “frugal.” Examining footage of Donald Trump and Prince Charles
posing for the cameras before walking into another room, Ms Mills told Sky: “Prince Charles - always known to not stand still very long for those photos. Very quickly escorting their guests
out of that room. “I suspect they are probably going into the Garden Room, which is a much larger sitting room area. “I’ve actually interviewed Prince Charles in that room before. “Some of
the sofas in there some may call a little bit scruffy. “One of them I sat on had a little split along the side of it. “We know the Prince of Wales is quite frugal but I’m sure the seats will
have been nicely plumped up for the President for that meeting.” Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are deliberately “snubbing” President Donald Trump as he tours London without any
sign of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex or Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. Ms Mills explained that the younger royals are no fans of Mr Trump and are happy to let that be
known. Commenting on footage of the controversial US President’s first visit to Buckingham Palace, Ms Mills mused: “One of the most interesting parts of this state visit is to see which
members of the Royal Family have stepped up publicly to be there alongside the Queen in support. “We know that they’ve been so close to the Obamas. We also know that Meghan isn’t a fan of
Donald Trump and has described him as a misogynist. “And what’s interesting is for the American audiences, at the moment they cannot get enough of the Cambridges and the Sussexes. “For the
President, he would love to have a picture with those younger royals." Ms Mills then suggested it was "a little bit of a snub" as the younger royals were not accompanying the
Trumps to any events, which has been the case for the Chinese President with William and Kate.
