Princess Beatrice hasn’t lost focus on her charity while she prepares to marry Edoardo, known among friends and family as Edo. The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson founded
the Big Change charity in 2010 with six of her friends. The organisation has been working for a decade on projects seeking to transform education around the world. And, as Beatrice and the
other founders have announced, it has launched new programmes this month, including the Big Leadership Adventure, a two-year programme empowering and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders in the
education sector. Big Change has also announced its collaboration with Lighthouse, a charity working to guarantee children in the care system the same education opportunities as everyone
else. In a statement, the charity said: “When you think about the scale of education reform that is needed and, what it will take to create a modern education system that is fit for
purpose, it can be quite overwhelming. “That’s why we’re bringing together innovative people who have some of the answers working on solutions and helping them scale their innovative ideas.
“By amplifying their impact, we can show the world that change is possible and importantly, provide a blueprint for how others to make it happen too. READ MORE: THE EXACT DATE PRINCESS
BEATRICE AND EDO WILL MARRY - INSIDER CLAIM “As we say at Big Change, education is everybody’s business and our work aims to empower educators, businesses, governments, parents, students and
leaders all over the world to become agents of education change. “This is the only way that wide-scale impact can be created. “Each of the project partners we have chosen to work with this
year addresses these different areas at their very core and really capture what we hope change will look like.” DON'T MISS Princess Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement in late
September last year. Ever since, the couple have remained tight-lipped over when and where the nuptials will take place. In the statement shared by Buckingham Palace on the day Beatrice and
Edo announced the happy news, officials only revealed the Royal Wedding would happen in 2020. However, one insider claimed the couple have already chosen the date of their nuptials, and will
take place on May 29. Another source claimed the Queen has appealed to the Royal Family ahead of the new Royal Wedding. They told The Sun: “The decision has been delayed repeatedly because
of all the issues, but finally they have something that seems to work — and barring any problems that should be when it goes ahead. “The Queen has asked everyone to come together to put on
a united front.” This wedding, the source continued, is seen as a massive opportunity to boost the image of the Royal Family after it has experienced several cracks in its unity. The source
added: “The press officers of all the palaces hope to portray the Beatrice wedding as the big event that brings the family back together again. “Aides know this will be a tough job, but
it’s all they can do not just to save the wedding, but potentially the monarchy’s reputation.”
