A man accused of stabbing two Metropolitan Police officers will today appear in the Old Bailey.   Two police officers were assaulted on the morning of September 16 while conducting routine


duties in Westminster. Detectives the next day charged Mohammed  Rahman, 24, with attempted murder and Section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. The attempted murder charge relates


to a male police constable. Mr Rahman’s GBH charge relates to a female police constable. The accused last month appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court. The Notting Hill man will today


appear at the Old Bailey in his first appearance at the Crown Court. Mr Rahman was also charged with assault (ABH) and two counts of threatening a person in a public place with a “bladed


article”, according to the Metropolitan Police. These charges relate to three other police constables. He also faces a charge of robbery and of possession of a bladed article.
