Vladimir Putin sparked more health rumours after he had officials spray disinfectant across a giant conference hall before his arrival. The mass disinfectant of the room at the St.

Petersburg International Economic Forum took place minutes before President Putin's entrance. He later delivered the keynote address at Russia's showcase at the conference. The

video, published by Russian media, raised speculation about President Putin's paranoia and concern for his own health. A Russian investigative journalist Andrey Zakharov tweeted a clip

of the two officials spraying the disinfectant on the floor. He wrote: "Before Putin’s visit to the UAE pavilion at SPIEF, the floor is being naturally disinfected, just as benches were

disinfected in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. "This man lives in a sterile world of his fantasies and pains, of course." JUST IN: DOZENS OF RUSSIAN TROOPS KILLED IN

SINGLE UKRAINIAN MISSILE STRIKE One social media user XSovietNews remarked: "The venue for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is disinfected ahead of Putin's visit. A

propagandist who met Putin recently said he had been in quarantine beforehand." Earlier today, it was confirmed that President Putin had imposed stringent security measures in St

Petersburg ahead of his keynote speech. This included the suspension of mobile internet services in the city, effectively sealing it off. According to Dmitry Peskov, the Russian

spokesperson, such stringent measures are imperative due to the audacious actions of the enemy. Tass, the state news agency, disclosed that this move aims to thwart any potential drone

attacks targeting the venue of Putin's customary gathering during the plenary session. It is thought that recent explosions on Russian soil have amplified Putin's fear of Ukrainian

drone assaults. This comes after a large-scale strike struck Moscow a little over two weeks ago, where Russian defense officials claimed that nearly 30 drones were involved. The

disinfectant spray mirrors Mr Putin's concern during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, when he had 'disinfectant tunnels' installed at his official residence outside Moscow

and at the Kremlin. The safety tunnels doused the Russian president's visitors with a mist of antibacterial solution. The paranoid leader has spent little time at the Kremlin during

the pandemic - opting instead to chair video conferences and run the country from his residence outside of the capital. This appears to have continued into this year, with a Spanish-made UVC

radiation disinfection device named the DesAir spotted in the background of his meeting with China's defense minister Li Shangfu in April. The disinfection device was marketed as

effective against "99.99 percent of bacteria and viruses in the air."
