Peaky Blinders has had its fair share of shock deaths over the years and after a very dramatic episode four cliffhanger, it seemed season five could continue the trend. Viewers were shocked


when Aunt Polly (played by Helen McCrory) shot Linda Shelby (Kate Phillips) in the final few moments of the episode. Now actor Kate Phillips has revealed more about the fate of her character

throughout season five. Viewers have watched her talking with Lizzie Shelby (Natasha O’Keeffe) about the possibility of divorcing her husband and what this might mean. This came to a head

Tommy Shelby’s (Cillian Murphy) special performance of Swan Lake intent on shooting her husband. The final few moments of the episode saw her aiming a gun at her estranged husband. However,


Aunt Polly appeared to shoot her down before she could fire at Arthur. When the episode ended on the character lying on the floor, many fans were devastated that she could be dead. READ

debate over whether she may actually be dead or not as viewers do not see her lying in blood. Although, the BBC has also released a photo from episode five that seems to show a funeral


procession taking place through the streets of Birmingham. Kate Phillips, who plays the character, revealed more about the scene in a recent interview with Digital Spy. READ MORE: Peaky

to find out what’s next in your story. “When your own storyline becomes that cliffhanger at the end of the episode, it’s quite intense.” While she kept quiet on whether her character is


actually dead or not, Phillips did reveal a bit more about the intense shoot. She added: “It was also, unbelievably fun to play, that evening was a night shoot and I’ve never been so cold in


my life. “The place that they chose to shoot that scene was on a bridge and it became this horrendous wind tunnel of ice cold air and I was wearing next to nothing. “Actually, it’s quite

gangster epic will have to wait until next week to find out the fate of her character. BBC has hinted at what will come next in the official synopsis for episode five. This reads: “Mosley


takes advantage of shocking events to give a speech to the gathered crowd at Arrow House. Afterwards, Mosley gives Tommy his instructions. “Arthur and his men arrive at Limehouse for the
