Young Sheldon takes fans of The Big Bang Theory on CBS back to when Sheldon Cooper (played by Iain Armitage) was a young child at high school. The series is now in its third season, which is
due to come to an end later this month, and fans have fallen in love with the hilarious cast. One character, in particular, they have taken an interest in is Veronica, who is played by
Isabel May. WHO DOES ISABEL MAY PLAY IN THE SERIES? In Young Sheldon Isabel May has guest-starred in a total of nine episodes so far, and she plays the role of Veronica Duncan. She is a
recurring character who first appeared in the sixth episode as one of the students in Sheldon's class, and she was considered a troublemaker. Veronica is the love interest of
Sheldon's older brother George Cooper Jr (Montana Jordan) and in theory became his first wife when George was 19. She does not feature in The Big Bang Theory but she has possibly been
referenced as George has also been mentioned in the original series. In Young Sheldon Veronica is believed to be about 16-years-old and she too is from Texas. READ MORE: YOUNG SHELDON SEASON
4: WILL THE NEW SERIES SEE SHELDON GET HIS PHD? At the start of the series, she is a reckless student who makes a lot of poor decisions after her father left when she was young. She is
dealing with a lot of family issues which would explain her bad behaviour, but after converting to Christianity she starts to behave appropriately. The Coopers take her under their wing as
she tries to escape the abuse of her mother's boyfriend Clint (Tim Griffin) who is an alcoholic. She becomes good friends with Sheldon's twin sister Missy (Raegan Revord) and Mary
Cooper (Zoe Perry) acts like a mother to her. There is only one episode of the current series left to air, and the final episode will be shown on April 16. Fans cannot wait to see what
happens in the final episode and they will be looking out for signs of Veronica, who Georgie bumped into again in one of the previous episodes. May featured in an interview on KTLA 5 and she
spoke about her role in the Young Sheldon series, saying it was a fun opportunity. She said: "I love it, it's so great, it's such a great set and the cast is fantastic. Annie
Potts is in it and she's a legend." May, who is believed to be 19-years-old, said she was not a fan of social media as it scared her and she would only "dip in and out"
to check things. She said it meant she was shocked when she first saw herself on a billboard for one of her shows as she knew nothing about the promotion. The fourth season of Young Sheldon
has already been given the go-ahead but fans will not know the official release date for some time yet. Fans are wondering whether the new series will focus on Sheldon's family,
including his dad George Sr (Lance Barber) who dies when Sheldon is 14. _YOUNG SHELDON IS AVAILABLE TO WATCH ON CBS AND ALL4 NOW_
