He is expected to sign a five-year contract worth £90m, with the transfer fee also nearing that figure.  Granovskaia is said to be hopeful of getting Leverkusen to accept a deal of £71.5m,

with various additional fees to be paid bringing the fee to the £90m.   Leverkusen are still holding out for their asking price because of their situation of having him under contract for

another two years.  Unlike other top players, Havertz doesn’t have a release clause, meaning they are free to demand whatever they want to let him go.
