OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 13s in India on June 5, positioning it as a compact yet powerful flagship alternative in its premium smartphone lineup.

The device is expected to sit between the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R in the brand’s portfolio, offering top-tier performance in a smaller footprint. The OnePlus 13R starts at ₹42,999, while

the OnePlus 13 starts at ₹69,999.

The OnePlus 13s will feature a 6.32-inch display reportedly with OLED LTPO technology, 1.5K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be available in three colours—Black Velvet, Pink

Satin, and an India-exclusive Green Silk—with a new Velvet Glass back finish that offers a soft-touch feel.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, currently the fastest in the Android ecosystem. The OnePlus 13s is designed for high-end gaming and

multitasking. The device will also feature the first-ever independent G1 Wi-Fi chipset for stable connectivity, along with 5.5G support. In a teaser video, OnePlus revealed that over 355

components were downsized in the 13s to make room for a larger battery, hinting at a possible 6,200mAh unit. OnePlus claims the 13s can deliver a full day’s battery life with just 30 minutes

of charging. The phone is also covered under the company’s lifetime display warranty for green line issues, offered as part of its “Green Line Worry-Free Solution” initiative.

The brand also promises zero-lag performance even in hot weather, thanks to what it claims is its most advanced cooling system yet in a compact smartphone.

The tagline for the OnePlus 13s is “Stronger. Smarter. Smaller,” reflecting the brand’s focus on AI capabilities and slimmer hardware design. One of the standout changes is the introduction

of the new “Plus Key,” which replaces the iconic Alert Slider. This programmable button seems to be reminiscent of Nothing’s Essential Space button and is expected to allow users to assign

quick actions like AI assistance and switching audio profiles.

On the camera front, the 13s is expected to include a 50MP rear camera. For selfies, the Indian variant will have a 32MP autofocus front camera, an upgrade over the 16MP unit seen in the

Chinese model.

The OnePlus 13s is expected to directly compete with budget flagship models like the iPhone 16e and Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. The launch will also feature the announcement of the company’s Pad

3 in select international markets. The 13s serves as the global counterpart to the OnePlus 13T, which was introduced in China this April, marking the return of the brand’s T-series after a

two-year hiatus.
