BHOPAL: Deputy Director General of Unique Identity Authority of India Sujata Chaturvedi called on Principal Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection R. Ramanujam at Mantralaya


on Friday. Chaturvedi held discussions with him o n work of providing Unique Identity cards to citizens of MP. Chaturvedi was informed about the process of providing UIDs to citizens in five


districts of the State- Shajapur, Dewas, Hoshangabad, Harda and Burhanpur. Registration of over 8.5 lakh persons has been made in the selected districts of the State so far. Chaturvedi was


apprised of works being undertaken in connection with Unique Identity, Adhaar Number and Statealt39s Food Coupon Scheme. Earlier, ADG of Unique Identity Authority of India Dinesh Yadav,


inspected the registration camps in Dewas and Shajapur districts where the work of registration of citizens was going on. Yadav saw registration process for UID in four camps in the dist.
