The Boys fans cannot contain their excitement as the popular spin off show Gen V shares a major update on season 2. Last aired in 2023, Gen V fans have eagerly been waiting for news on the
season 2 release date. However, the tragic death of star Chance Perdomo delayed filming. But Amazon Prime has now shared with fans that season two will be "coming soon", leading to
questions over how the plot will continue. Set in the world of The Boys, Gen V explores Godolkin University, a superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of
heroes. But those at the focus of the series are of course faced with drama and difficult decisions. The streaming giant describes season one as a "thrilling" series as it said:
"From the world of The Boys comes Gen V, a thrilling new series set at America’s only college for superheroes. These gifted students put their moral boundaries to the test, competing
for the university’s top ranking, and a chance to join The Seven, Vought International’s elite superhero team. When the school’s dark secrets come to light, they must decide what kind of
heroes they want to become." Since the spin off was renewed, many rumours and questions have circulated over casting news as well as storylines and writer Eric Kripke himself promised
it "will be worth the wait". Taking to social media earlier this month, Kripke teased fans with an update. He wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Okay #GenV update! Eps are done
editing, doing music, sound & VFX now. Finishing up the first trailer. Trailer drop & date announcement coming soon. (I think this season is better than S1 & will be worth the
wait)." > Now, taking to social media, the official poster has been shared as the Gen V account wrote: "Sophomore year incoming. Syllabus arrives this Saturday at CCXP
Mexico!" Although no official release date has been released, Amazon has confirmed that the popular show will be "coming soon". And fans cannot contain their excitement.
Commenting on the post, one fan begged: "Oh my God, please just drop the date." Another wrote: "It won’t feel the same without the best character UGHHHH." A third added:
"YESSSS THIS IS TEAAA." A fourth said: "I'd give an arm to see season 2." Another replied: "FINALYYYY!! WERE SO BACK" as one wrote: "I like this show
100x better then "The Boys"." Similar thoughts echoed on X, as one person wrote: "#GenV At long last, you return to us." Another said: "Finally I can't
wait. But Chance not being there will also hurt my soul quite a lot, RIP." _GEN V'S FIRST SEASON IS AVAILABLE TO STREAM NOW ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO_
