Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said that it booked and arrested a government school teacher, who was running a What’s App group, and a college student in Rajouri district for a posting a


sensitive video in the group which bears potential to disturb law and order.  A police officer said the accused teacher Anwar Hussain of Ladhote Rajouri was running a What’s App news group


namely “D@ily News & Notification. “Recently one of the members of the group Showkat Ali of Ladhote Rajouri, who is a 3rd semester student of Government PG College Rajouri, shared a


highly sensitive video in the group,” he added.  He said the “doctored video” was of highly sensitive nature which could have disturbed led to law and order problem in the area. “Taking


strong note of it police registered a case under relevant sections at Police Station Rajouri after which the duo was arrested,” he said, adding that both the accused have been lodged at


district jail Dhangri. The police officer said that people should use social media in a positive manner and not share any sensitive content which can disturb public order. “Stern action as


per law shall be taken against the person or persons endorsing or sharing any such post,” he added.
