Last year, I was stuck behind or in front of incessant talkers at every single show I attended at the Greek Theatre. Last night I went to my first show of this season (Stevie Ray Vaughan)

and was once again afflicted with a jerk who _ never_ shut up. Hey fella (yeah, you in the white tank top), if you’re reading this, next time you go to a concert, please give a thought to

the people around you who are trying to hear the music and go elsewhere if you absolutely must talk. The Greek Theatre is not your living room. And, please don’t bother people with repeated

pleas for their ticket stubs so that you can sneak your friends closer to the stage--the last thing anyone would want to give you is a chance to find someone else to talk to. JEANNE DOUGLAS
