Christ College Irvine has added a master’s program to its curriculum, officials announced. The new classes for a master’s degree in education began this week. Other courses will begin later

this summer. College officials said the master’s courses are designed to be taken on a full-time or part-time basis. Marlin Schulz, dean of graduate studies, said the new program is a

“historic moment for Christ College.” He said the college is the youngest in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod to receive church approval for the advanced-degree program. Scholarships are
