Laker forward James Worthy began serving 40 hours of community service at a Houston middle school as part of his sentence for two misdemeanor charges of soliciting prostitution last Nov. 15.

Houston police Sgt. Jim Marquez said Worthy will conduct four basketball clinics a day.
