COMING TO TERMS WITH THE PAST How many secrets have been taken to the grave? A question that has plagued generation after generation. Secrets hidden away so they couldn’t destroy the
carefully crafted lies that have been put into place. It seems lies are necessary, because without them the person would have to face the truth, and that is something most people aren’t
willing to do. So they continue to perpetuate the lie and build upon it. Eventually, this lie has been repeated out loud or in their head enough times, then it becomes their truth. So, lies
are told to prevent the truth from coming to light. Wouldn’t it have been easier to tell the truth and have a clear conscience? Instead of living a false truth and every lie that is added to
keep the real truth from being revealed? That brings me back to my original question. How many secrets have been taken to the grave? How does one differentiate from the consequences of the
false truth versus the actual truth? In the end, damage has been done with all the lies. When the actual truth is told there is a chance to understand why it was done in the first place.
Yet, with the lie you will waste more time trying to figure out what the actual truth is. Time that could have been spent learning how to heal. — _Nicole Barden 5/26/2021_ Thank you for
