ABSTRACT ANHYDROUS _bis_(salicylaldehydato)copper(II) and _bis_(8-hydroxyquinolinato)copper(II) were obtained by precipitation of the complexes from aqueous solution and recrys-tallization from water-free chloroform and chlorobenzene respectively. Both compounds formed bronze-green crystals. Their structures have been determined from single-crystal X-ray photographs using copper _k_α-radiation. Both compounds were found to crystallize in the monoclinic space group _P_21/_c_, details being as follows: Access through your institution Buy or subscribe This is a preview of subscription content, access via your institution ACCESS OPTIONS Access through your institution Subscribe to this journal Receive 51 print issues and online access $199.00 per year only $3.90 per issue Learn more Buy this article * Purchase on SpringerLink * Instant access to full article PDF Buy now Prices may be subject to local taxes which are calculated during checkout ADDITIONAL ACCESS OPTIONS: * Log in * Learn about institutional subscriptions * Read our FAQs * Contact customer support SIMILAR CONTENT BEING VIEWED BY OTHERS SELF-ASSEMBLY OF NEW COBALT COMPLEXES BASED ON [CO (SCN)4], SYNTHESIS, EMPIRICAL, ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY, AND QUANTUM THEORY INVESTIGATIONS Article Open access 22 September 2022 SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF METAL DITHIOCARBAMATE DERIVATIVES OF (_S_)-1-PHENYL-1,2,3,4-TETRAHYDROISOQUINOLINE Article Open access 29 November 2024 AN ISOLABLE, CHELATING BIS[CYCLIC (ALKYL)(AMINO)CARBENE] STABILIZES A STRONGLY BENT, DICOORDINATE NI(0) COMPLEX Article Open access 23 April 2024 REFERENCES * Stackelberg, M., _Z.
