Tenth anniversary commemorative pressing arrives on Record Store Day next month The White Stripes will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2005 LP, _Get Behind Me Satan_, with the first
commercially available vinyl pressing of the album, which arrives on Record Store Day, April 18th, via Jack White‘s Third Man Records. _Get Behind Me Satan_ will come as a double LP pressed
on 180-gram vinyl, with one disc colored red, the other colored white. The packaging will also feature a new lenticular gatefold jacket — which transitions between the original cover
featuring Jack and Meg White, and a recreation with two different models — and new artwork inspired by the original promotional version of the album. Jack White also stars in a new promo for
the commemorative _Get Behind Me Satan_ release, which teases the new artwork. [embedded content] TRENDING STORIES This limited pressing of _Get Behind Me Satan_ will be available at Third
Man’s Nashville store alongside other participating Record Store Day outlets. For those unable to scoop up a copy, the album will be released with standard artwork on black vinyl later this
year. White and Third Man began _Get Behind Me Satan_‘s 10th anniversary celebration earlier this year with the release of the label’s 23rd Vault package, which centered around _Under
Amazonian Lights_, a double LP and DVD capturing the White Stripes‘ June 1st, 2005 concert in Manaus, Brazil. The package also included a 7-inch single with an early White solo effort, “Let
You Down,” which featured lyrics later repurposed for _Satan _cut “The Nurse.” The B-side boasted a long-forgotten White Stripes instrumental outtake, “Ain’t No Sweeter Than Rita Blues,”
recorded during the _Satan_ sessions.
