The Chinese Lunar New Year takes over the 13th arrondissement of Paris from Monday January 27 to Saturday February 15, 2025. On the program: cultural events, shows, exhibitions and the


unmissable parade on Sunday February 9, the largest in the capital. JANUARY 29 is LUNAR NEW YEAR, a very important date in the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese calendars, as it marks the


beginning of the New Year in these cultures! From Hong Kong to Paris, this event is celebrated with a rich variety of activities: PARADES, WORKSHOPS, EXHIBITIONS... The MAIRIE DU 13E, the


arrondissement with the best-known Chinatown, organizes a wide range of events every year. Once again this year, the 13th arrondissement is transformed to celebrate the start of a new lunar


year. In 2025, we move from the Year of the Dragon to that of the WOOD SNAKE. The festivities begin on JANUARY 27, with the inauguration of the STREET PAVOISEMENT, where lanterns and


traditional decorations adorn the district. The highlight is the CHINESE NEW YEAR PARADE, scheduled for SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9. Dragons, dancing lions and colorful floats will parade down the


Avenue d'Ivry and surrounding area, accompanied by traditional music and dance. The show attracts thousands of spectators every year, and the festive atmosphere promises to be one to


remember. THE 13TH LUNAR NEW YEAR PROGRAM IN PARIS 2025: EXHIBITIONS: * "TOUS SOUS LE MÊME CIEL", presented by the Alliance Française de Pékin, brings together over 80 works by


children aged 4 to 16, exploring the themes of ecology and the environment. On view FROM JANUARY 27 TO FEBRUARY 12 at the 13th arrondissement town hall, Antichambre & Galerie Athéna. *


"À TOUTE VITESSE", a photographic exhibition by Charles Dengpheng, offers a vibrant look at Vietnam. On view FROM JANUARY 28 TO FEBRUARY 12 at Mairie du 13e, Galerie Bièvre.

awaits you at 7pm at the historic Tang Frères at 44 avenue d'Ivry. * SUNDAY, JANUARY 29: * Lion dance at Paris Store at 2pm for 44 avenue d'Ivry and 3pm for 21 avenue d'Ivry.
