MINSK (Sputnik) — On November 16-17, Minsk hosted an international military and scientific conference, devoted to problematic issues of management of multinational contingents of the CSTO
Collective Rapid Reaction Force. "During the conference, the participants developed a number of recommendations, which were reflected in a final resolution. Their implementation will
enhance the defense capability of the member states' armed forces and improve the CSTO collective security system," the ministry said. According to the statement, the experts have
come to the conclusion that the military-political situation in the Eastern European region was becoming more tense, and there were negative trends in the sphere of international and
regional security. "These factors and some others predetermine the necessity to revise the views and approaches toward the organization of management of the CSTO Collective Rapid
Reaction Force," the ministry said.
