partly responsible for the death of Teen Mom's Valerie Fairman of a presumed overdose at 23 years old. When TMZ asked about a connection between Fairman's TV career and her dismal
end, Abraham said: 'I think that played a part.' Abraham was also spotted on Thursday strolling hand in hand with her 28-year-old boyfriend Simon Saran in New York City. Scroll

on-again-off-again couple last went off each other earlier this year, but they since appear to have struck their romance up again. On Thursday, she got in a bit of ice skating with him and
posed with a busker dressed as the Statue Of Liberty. Fairman, who was just 15 when she starred on the MTV reality show 16 And Pregnant, was found unresponsive in a pal's bathroom in
Coatesville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, according to TMZ. During her interview with TMZ, Abraham - herself an alumna of 16 And Pregnant and Teen Mom - insisted: ‘I have to say this: there is
a lot of women, who they have still had in production, who carried on 16 And Pregnant after us. I honestly feel like it’s not a positive thing.' The 25-year-old expanded: 'I don’t
think that helps the economy further. It really adds a lot of more unplanned pregnancies, a lot of failed relationships, and that’s not really what we’re trying to show, and it’s not really
done in a positive, effective way that I think we all started out doing.' To the Council Bluffs native, 'that’s just the honest to God truth, and it’s really hurtful to me to see
what I am seeing, and women do not need to be pregnant to get on television.’ On hearing of the death, 'I was very devastated, because, you know, I think of – she has a seven-year-old
child who now has a huge loss, just like my daughter has a loss of her father, and we lost him around Christmastime as well.' Whilst Abraham was still expecting during 16 And Pregnant,
Derek Underwood, the father of her child, perished in a car crash on December 28, 2008. 'So,' she told TMZ, 'I think whoever is surrounding Neveah, who is her daughter, I
hope that they truthfully help her through bereavement, the loss of her mother, you know, any drug or addiction problems in her future.' Neveah, per Abraham, 'needs to be
surrounded by positive, awesome people, and it’s sad that her mother wasn’t supported in that way.’ Other Teen Mom stars have relied on Twitter to publicly express their sadness about their
former colleague's demise. Jenelle Evans tweeted: 'Oh my god. I just spoke to her a couple months ago and told her I'm proud of her and looks like she's doing
good.' She'd appeared with Valerie on the second series of the reality show. Jenelle, who has also struggled with drug dependency, added: 'This really upsets me. I told her to
stay on track.' She warned: 'Don't take life for granted. Hold your children and love them close.' She also posted an Instagram selfie of the two of them, writing
'Rest Easy Angel' in the caption and sharing that 'my heart is heavy and my prayers go out to your family and Nevaeh.' Chelsea Houska tweeted: 'How incredibly sad.
My heart goes out to her daughter and family.' Amber Portwood retweeted the sad news, sharing it with her 444,000 followers. Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell have yet to
comment. The Ashley website was the first to report the MTV star's death after family members took to social media to express their grief. MTV, the network behind Valerie's show,
also confirmed her passing in a statement: 'We are saddened by the news of Valerie Fairman's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.' Valerie had
struggled with drugs for some time and despite a reported rehab stay, had also found herself in trouble with the law. In recent years, she had been arrested for assaulting her mother and
prostitution. Last Wednesday, she was arrested for resisting arrest and making a false identification to law enforcement Valerie leaves seven-year-old daughter Nevaeh, whose name is heaven
spelled backwards. Farrah Abraham
