Flights can see plane passengers travelling on aircraft for hours at a time. It can be tricky to get comfortable in a plane seat so contorting yourself into bizarre positions is often the
only solution. One woman has been criticised for her attempts to get snug during a flight. A picture of what the female flyer did has gone viral after been shared by Instagram account
passengershaming. The plane passenger was snapped napping on the aircraft - but she has put her feet up on the seat in front. She also appears to have taken off her shoes and socks so her
naked skin is resting on the top of the seat. Bizarrely, however, the female traveller seems to have made an attempt to cover her bare feet up. She has put a hat over both her feet so only
the heels are visible to those around her. It’s unclear whether the move was an attempt to keep her feet warm or whether she hoped to fool others into thinking her feet weren’t bare. The
woman appears to be asleep, with the photo being taken from the flyer in the seat behind. Instagram users have been horrified the passenger’s lack of plane etiquette - with some baffled by
her decision. “Maybe if I put a hat on them, no one will notice my gross feet on the back of this chair? Classy,” one person commented. “I don’t even understand what is happening here. Why
is her hat on her feet?!” another wrote, while a third offered: “So the sun won't burn her toes?” “If this was my seat and I saw this I would lose my mind,” one Instagram user added.
Unfortunately, this woman is not alone in putting her bare feet up on a plane seat. One disturbing Instagram photo shows a flyer sitting in the seat behind resting their foot on the
passenger’s armrest in front. But there are so many ways in which this particular foot is so unpleasant. The foot has neither sock nor shoe on it and is completely naked as it perches on
the armrest. Furthermore, the health of the appendage is highly questionable. The toenails seem to be in a poor state and black bits can be seen on the extremity. The big toe even appears to
have a sore on its tip as well as patches of dry skin. “Not sure if he needs the hospital or a pedicure,” one person posted on the image-sharing site. “Omg. These are so disgusting I COULD
NOT, WOULD NOT keep my mouth shut,” another added.
