Bollywood is making its way to digital platforms and today as many as seven films were announced for an OTT release. Akshay Kumar starrer horror comedy ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, which was scheduled to
hit the screens on Eid this year, has been scheduled for a digital release. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the film features Kiara Advani as the leading lady. Apart from this, Alia Bhatt and
Aditya Roy Kapur’s romantic drama ‘Sadak 2’ is a part of the massive digital release plan.This film is Alia’s first ever collaboration with her father Mahesh Bhatt. Also scheduled to release
on the same platform is Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’. The patriotic drama is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war and features Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, and Nora
Fatehi in pivotal roles. Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’, Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘The Big Bull’, Kunal Kemmu’s ‘Lootcase’ and Vidyut Jammval’s ‘Khuda Hafiz’ were also
scheduled to release in theatres but have now moved to digital platforms. These seven films join the ranks of recently released ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ and ‘Gunjan Saxena’.
